Tori Sparks

History Teacher

I am excited to expand my role at DCI to that of a teacher leader as I begin the role of Individuals and Societies Subject Coordinator. I grew up in Norfolk, VA before moving to Charlottesville, VA to complete a BA in History and African American Studies at the University of Virginia. After graduating from UVA, I moved to Miami to teach high school history as part of the 2013 Miami-Dade County Teach for America corps. While teaching, I also completed a MS in Education from Johns Hopkins University. I moved to the DC area in 2015. In my spare time, I love to read and travel. I eagerly anticipate another phenomenal year dedicated to the development of future global scholars and leaders.
