Special Education/504 Coordinator
Born and raised in Maryland, I ventured out for college to attend Boston University in Massachusetts. There I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education for mild-moderate disabilities in grades Pre K-8. Upon my return to the DMV, I immediately started working at a top performing DC Charter School as a Special Education Teacher with a focus on Math instruction. I have taught for a total of 11 years and for the past 4 years have served as the Student Support Coordinator for another well-performing DC Charter School. I am excited to join the amazing DCI staff for my first year here as a Special Education Coordinator! I will work with families to ensure their student is receiving support to meet incredible success. In my free time I love to crochet baby blankets, take advantage of outdoor activities, and spend time with my nieces.
