Bonjour! My name is Mounia Elmezrichi, I joined DCI’s faculty in February 2017. I am so excited to start my third school year at DCI with multicultural and multilingual students and staff members. I was born in Rabat (Morocco) and grew up in Brussels (Belgium). I am a native speaker of French and Arabic, fluent in English and Spanish; and possess elementary knowledge of the Dutch language. I graduated from La Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles with a B.A in Public Relations. I have also completed a teaching Certificate from Roger Guilbert Institut in Brussels. I have approximately 10 years of professional experience as an educator. I have additional experience in executive administration, and public relations working in public sector, private schools and in the communications industry. My areas of expertise and experience include: development and implementation of course materials and collateral for pre-school, elementary, middle, and high schools students. I have implemented differentiation teaching methods in language class. I have developed best management practices for student classroom behavior. I have conducted numerous evaluations of student performance; and have demonstrated strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills. I possess exceptional communication and prioritization skills. These skills are accompanied by a strong work ethic. I am very passionate about travelling and music. I enjoy speaking in Spanish at DCI and learning about different culture. Quality of learning and building a strong relationship with my students are my ultimate goals.
