I hold a B.A. in History from Ursinus College as well as a M.Ed in General and Special Education from Lesley University. I am a 2012 Urban Teacher alum from the D.C. Region. For the past 5 years I have taught 8th grade English in Southeast Washington, D.C. Prior to teaching in D.C. I served as a History T.A. and spent a year abroad teaching conversational English in Shenzhen, China. I am passionate about making learning accessible to students of all abilities and helping students reach their individual academic and social goals.
I am excited to be a part of the DCI community where learning, culture, and language are celebrated. I hope to inspire students to become lifelong learners.
