Individuals and Societies in Spanish Teacher

I am a DC native who grew up in the Columbia Heights Neighborhood and returned home to teach after attending college in Fort Worth, TX. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Wesleyan University, where my studies focused on advanced mathematics, physics, and philosophy. I have worked as afterschool program coordinator as well as math and reading interventionist at the Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School. While living in Fort Worth I had the opportunity to work with youth at the Polytechnic United Community Center as an afterschool program teacher while also working as a teaching assistant for both the math and physics departments of Texas Wesleyan University. I enjoy cycling, reading, playing the drums, speaking Spanglish and consider myself half Mexican, half Salvadoran, and entirely Washingtonian.
