Jingyi Wu

你好！I received my master degree from University of Maryland concentrating on world language education. Before joining DC international School, I worked as a Chinese Immersion teacher in Delaware for three years. I also taught a Chinese language lab course for international undergraduate students during my studies in Beijing Language and Culture University. I speak Chinese and English and I’m learning Korean now. Teaching a second language as well as being a second language learner helps me understand and experience the benefits of being able to speak a second language in a global community. I hope I can share my experience with my students so more people can use language as a tool for more possibilities. In my spare time, I like reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to the upcoming school year!
