Jillian Levine-Sisson

Director of Extracurricular Programs

Jillian Levine-Sisson (known to students, staff and families as Ms. J) is originally from Bethesda, MD and attended Walt Whitman High School. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Theatre with a focus on Directing and Shakespeare Studies at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, she worked in Education, Production and Audience Services for several theatre companies in the DC area including Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Rorschach Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre and Imagination Stage. In 2008, she earned her Masters Degree in Arts Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education specializing in arts integration and curriculum development. Before coming to DCI in the Fall of 2017, Ms. J ran the Education Departments of Round House Theatre and the BlackRock Center for the Arts and taught courses on Arts Integration in the School of Education at Montgomery College-Germantown. In her spare time, she works with her husband writing stories and recording characters for audiobooks. She also enjoys traveling, baking, throwing parties and visiting every ComicCon she can find.
