I am originally from North Carolina and received my B.A. in Sociology North Carolina State University. After working with children as an ABA therapist in the D.C. area, I became drawn to the field of Occupational Therapy and pediatrics. I received my M.S. in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University. During graduate school, I worked with adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a driving simulator to help prepare them for the complex and important occupation of driving. I am excited to work with students at DCI this upcoming Fall 2021! Outside of school, I am a watercolor artist and enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our beagle.
