Franck Moncherit Makouangou

Teacher

I am from the Republic of Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville, in Western Central Africa and am also a Peruvian citizen, having spent more than 11 years in that country. I obtained my BA and certification in Education at the Facultad de Teologia Pontificia y Civil and my French teaching certification from the Alliance Française both in Lima, Peru. Before joining DCI, I taught French in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools in Lima for more than 10 years. During that time, I instructed in the Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma Program (DP) (French ab initio) and at the Abraham Lincoln Peruvian-North American School I coordinated Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) for several years. I am also a professional African story teller. I perform in Spanish and French and have narrated at festivals and shows in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Peru. Finally, I have also dabbled in modeling. Several of the commercials I did that aired on television in Peru are available on YouTube. I am a father of two and I moved to the United States last year to reunite with my wife who I met when she lived in Peru. I am very motivated to begin working at DCI.
