Fabiola St. Hilaire
A little about me - I was born and raised in Silver Spring. Being a first-generation American born to Haitian parents is very special to me and has truly shaped me into the resilient person that I am today. I received my BA in Spanish from Salisbury University. I have a M.Ed. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and I am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Applied Linguistics. SY2021-2022 will be my 9th year in education. I have had the pleasure to teach K-12 and Adult Education in Honduras, Spain, New York City, and here at home. When I am not working or in graduate school knee deep in research, I enjoy cooking, dancing, and traveling the world. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of loss in the past couple of years, and it has given me such perspective and forces me to truly take no moment or person for granted. One of my favorite parts of teaching is making genuine connections with staff, students, and their families. I truly love being an educator and I hope to continue and become a leader in the years to come!
