I am Elena Ross and this will be my fourth year teaching in DC. I attended the University of Michigan where I studied adolescent psychology, and then began my career by completing the Capital Teaching Residency student-teaching program through KIPP DC. I then spent two years lead teaching 8th grade English at WILL Academy. When I am not teaching, you may find me exploring various events around DC, competing at trivia, or attending a dance class. I have a long-held passion for well-rounded education, global perspectives, and teenage development, and I am so excited to become a part of the DCI community!
