Catalina Hernandez Noriega
I’m a native of Mexico City. My family comes originally from Spain so I’m both Mexican and Spanish. I have lived in Mexico, Poland, The Netherlands, Spain and for the past 17 years I’ve lived in Maryland. I love teaching Spanish as a second language and sharing with students the beauty, richness and diversity of the Spanish culture. I strongly believe that the more languages one speaks the more friends and doors open one can have, for that reason I have learned to speak some French, Dutch and a little bit of Polish.
I have worked as a tutor for many years, and for the past 5 years I was a MS Spanish teacher at Saint Francis International School in Silver Spring, with the past two years as a Middle School Team leader.
I am very excited to become a teacher of Dragons this new school year!
When I am not teaching, I am reading, painting with acrylic, watercolor or oil or spending time with my daughter and our parrotlet, Vicky.
