Bonjour! My name is Anna Martin and I come from a bilingual, tricultural (French-American-Iranian) background and am a native speaker of French and English. I am passionate about Francophone culture, multilingual education, and did most of my schooling at the Lycée Français de New York. I have gone to France nearly every summer of my life to spend time with the French side of my family who live there. I earned my BA in French and Education from Goucher College. As part of my studies, I worked in Paris for a semester at two of the city’s most renowned museums and also studied in Copenhagen, where I focused on multicultural education. After graduating college, I lived and taught in Baltimore and then moved to the DC area to teach at a French immersion school in Maryland. I am an avid traveler and photographer who also enjoys tennis, hiking, and music. I joined DCI in August 2019 and I am so proud to be part of such a wonderful team and amazing students!
