Spring is right around the corner. In parks, gardens, forests, and fields, grass is turning green, flowers are in bloom, and tress and budding. Celebrate springtime in our nation’s capital and in the parks and green spaces in your life by joining us for a day of hands-on activities and games focused on parks, planning, landscape design, and architecture. Activities include: folding origami masterpieces, designing a memorial for the National Mall, constructing a tatebanko diorama, meeting DuAro (Kawasaki’s robot), trying on traditional Japanese clothing and learning more about the National Park Service’s Centennial celebration.
