A native Ohioan, I graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Anthropology in 2012. Immediately following college, I worked at a K-12 school in Dayton, Ohio, creating and directing a community and service-learning program primarily geared toward helping students understand issues of social justice and ways to take action. During this time, I discovered my passion for working with young people and helping to support their positive social-emotional development. After teaching in Ohio for three years, I attended graduate school at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, earning my Ed.M. in Prevention Science and Practice: Counseling in 2016 and my Certificate of Advanced Studies: School Counseling in 2017. I come to this work with a love of yoga, mindfulness, activism, people, and being outside!
