I am a vibrant educator with a zeal for the reinvention of traditional schooling. I hold a Masters of Science in Education from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, and a Bachelors of Arts in English with a minor in education from The University of Belize where I grew up. I speak English, Spanish at an advanced high proficiency level and Kriol, the language I grew up with, the rich buttery soft Belizean dialect just rolls off the tongue.
Thus far, I have taught English, the language, and the accompanying literature, with which is intertwined, in elementary schools, high schools, junior colleges and university. Communication is the story of my life. Meaningful communication is of paramount importance to most, if not all, individuals in the world today, and I am eager, quite fueled and ready to help to unleash and showcase the amazing global communication skills that the DCI students possess in literacy.
